PSS Group are proud to be able to support the Second Annual Coast 2 Coast Charity Bike Ride. This event is held by Keller Group Australia and is due to set off in August this year.

Last year’s Charity Bike Ride was very successful, raising an incredible $200,000 for a group of selected charities. This year the event has its sights set on raising even more funds to support four important charities. The 2014 event will benefit:
Red Frogs – a support program that provides direct relief from alcohol and drug related issues that are known to cause anxiety, pain, poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, disability, destitution and helplessness.

The Indigenous Literacy Foundation – works to put vital literacy resources and books into the hands of children and families in remote and isolated parts of Australia.

These communities are the most disadvantaged and often don’t have books in their homes Christ Mission Possible – an organisation who offer support to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Autism Awareness – is the nation’s leading not-for-profit autism education and advocacy organisation. They are dedicated to increasing awareness of autism in the community by providing targeted educational programs for parents and professionals.

The bike ride will take eleven days as the riders travel across Australia from Adelaide to Darwin. During the bike ride, they will endure tough conditions riding along unsealed surfaces through remote communities of Australia. The riders will set off each day at dawn and ride til dusk, battling against the terrain and weather along the way. Ten riders have signed up this year to participate in this journey of a lifetime.

The Coast 2 Coast ride will depart Adelaide on the 28th of August and will be covered by the media along the way.

PSS Group’s $10,000 donation will be evenly distributed to the four charities benefiting from this year’s event. We wish the riders the best of luck on their charity bike ride across Australia.
