With great pride, PSS Group assumed the role of project surveyors for the Wheatstone Construction Village, a remarkable 3800-room accommodation village nestled near Onslow. This grand venture, commissioned by John Holland Group, promises to be an embodiment of modern camp accomodations.

The Village will offer an array of amenities, including recreation centers, a football oval to inspire athletic fervor, a serene swimming pool for relaxation, tennis courts for the enthusiasts, a state-of-the-art medical center, and fine dining facilities to tantalize the taste buds.

In an event graced by Premier Colin Barnett and Chevron executives, the groundbreaking ceremony for the astounding $29 billion Wheatstone project took place earlier this month. The green light received in September from the energy giant has set this project on a path of great success.

Anticipated to be a catalyst for progress, Wheatstone is set to generate a prodigious 6500 jobs, with a significant 3500 positions in the construction sector, spanning over the next five years. The construction of two LNG trains and a domestic gas plant, coupled with the integration of four gas fields in the Carnarvon Basin, promises a bright future for the region.

As we embark on this momentous journey, work on the accommodation village shall commence without delay, aiming for completion by the mid of 2014. A magnificent step towards prosperity and modernity awaits us.
